Browse available vehicles by location and date, select the one you want, and complete your booking with secure payment via Stripe. You'll need to verify your identity by scanning your UK driving licence through Stripe Identity (a one-time process), then submit a free DVLA check code from gov.uk/view-driving-licence so the provider can review your driving record. Once accepted and insured, you'll receive the pickup details and can message the provider through the platform.
After payment, you submit your DVLA check code. The provider then has 48 hours to review your driving record and up to 5 days to arrange insurance. Most bookings are confirmed within 2–3 days. You'll see each step updated in real time on your booking page. If the provider doesn't complete both steps within 7 days, your booking is automatically cancelled and you're fully refunded.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect. A 10% ITIRR Booking Service Fee is included in the price shown on all listings and is charged to the renter. The provider receives 100% of the rental price they set. The fee covers identity verification, driving record processing, secure payments, and booking support. The fee is non-refundable once your booking reaches Confirmed status — if declined, expired, or cancelled before confirmation, it's refunded in full.
Security deposits are set by each provider and charged at checkout alongside your rental payment. Deposits are processed and held by Stripe Connect (not by ITIRR) and cover minor or cosmetic damage and the insurance excess. After you return the vehicle, the provider has 24 hours to report any damage — if nothing is reported, your deposit is automatically refunded in full. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days. If you disagree with a damage claim, you have 72 hours to respond with evidence and ITIRR will facilitate resolution.
Cancellation terms are set by each vehicle provider and displayed clearly on the listing and at checkout. Policies vary between Flexible, Moderate, and Strict tiers. If a provider fails to confirm within their review window, your booking is automatically cancelled and you receive a full refund.
Insurance is the responsibility of the vehicle provider, not ITIRR. Each provider must hold valid hire & reward or self-drive insurance and add you to their policy before your booking is confirmed. You'll see the insurance confirmation status in your booking details. A provider may decline a booking if their insurer is unable to add you to the policy — in that case, you'll receive a full refund.
All communication happens through the ITIRR in-platform messaging system, which unlocks after payment. Sharing personal contact details — phone numbers, email addresses, or social media — is strictly prohibited and messages containing them will be blocked. Providers are identified by listing code only (e.g. IT00001) to protect both parties. All messages are logged for dispute resolution.

There are no upfront costs — ITIRR charges a 10% booking service fee to renters and you keep 100% of your rate.

ITIRR acts as an intermediary marketplace. All rental agreements are between the customer and the independent vehicle provider. ITIRR does not own vehicles, provide insurance, or act as the rental supplier.
