Valid V5C and current MOT. DVLA data populates automatically when you enter the registration.

Specialist hire insurance
A self-drive hire or motor trade policy that covers commercial rental use. You declare cover at listing and again on each booking — no certificate upload, no expiry tracking by ITIRR.

Verified identity
A one-off licence or passport scan through Stripe Identity. Takes around two minutes.

What commission does ITIRR take?
None. Providers keep 100% of their listed rate. A 10% service fee is charged to the renter at checkout, shown transparently — it sits on top of your rate, not inside it.
Who is responsible for insurance?
You are. As a condition of listing, you must hold a specialist self-drive hire or motor trade insurance policy that covers commercial rental. You sign a declaration at listing, and again on each booking you accept — confirming the renter is covered under your policy for the rental period. ITIRR does not hold certificates, verify policies, or track expiry.
How are deposits handled?
ITIRR charges and holds the deposit on your behalf. If you report damage within 24 hours of return, we help resolve the claim. If not, the deposit is automatically refunded to the renter.
Can I control who rents my vehicle?
Yes. Set minimum driver age, maximum penalty points, and excluded endorsement groups per listing. You then review each DVLA check code personally before confirming any booking.
What does listing cost?
Listing is free. No monthly fees, no setup cost. Optional featured placements are available from £29 if you want extra visibility on the homepage or browse page.
