How can we help?
Find answers to common questions about booking, payments, verification, and more.
Booking
Browse available vehicles by location and date, select the car you want, and complete your booking with secure payment via Stripe. After payment, you'll submit a DVLA check code so the provider can confirm your driving record for insurance purposes. Once confirmed, you'll receive the exact pickup address and can message the provider through the ITIRR platform.
After payment, you'll be asked to submit a DVLA check code. The provider then has 48 hours to review your driving record. Once accepted, they arrange insurance within 5 days and confirm the booking. You'll see live updates on your booking page. If the provider doesn't respond in time, you're automatically refunded.
Most bookings are confirmed within 2–3 days. After you submit your DVLA check code, the provider reviews your driving record within 48 hours and then arranges insurance within 5 days. If the provider doesn't complete both steps within 7 days total, your booking is automatically cancelled and you're fully refunded.
Cancellation terms are set by each individual vehicle provider and are displayed clearly on the car listing and at checkout. Policies vary between Flexible, Moderate, and Strict tiers. If a provider fails to confirm within the required timeframe, your booking is automatically cancelled and you receive a full refund.
A provider may decline a booking if your driving record doesn't meet their requirements, you don't hold the correct licence category for the vehicle, their insurer was unable to add you to the policy, or the vehicle is no longer available. You'll always receive a full refund if a booking is declined.
Some vehicles offer delivery. You'll see "Delivery available" on the listing. At checkout, choose between collecting the vehicle or having it delivered. The delivery fee is calculated based on distance and shown before you pay. Delivery details are arranged through ITIRR messaging after confirmation.
ITIRR acts as an intermediary marketplace. All rental agreements are between the customer and the independent vehicle provider. ITIRR does not own vehicles, provide insurance, or act as the rental supplier.
